Having problems with your liner staying put? Does your eye shadow crease after a few hours on your eyelids?Â
Ladies, here is a simple and very effective solution:
Urban Decay Eye shadow Primer Potion
Â
The genie in this bottle fulfills three wishes: eyeshadow that lasts, more vibrant and lasting color, and absolutely NO creasing. Apply Primer Potion to lids before shadow application. It dries down almost instantly (and invisibly), creating smooth lids that are super powered eyeshadow magnets.
Beauty.com is offering a special price on the UD Primer Potion when you buy two. If you only buy one, the price would regularly be $15.00. If you purchase two for $25.00 your savings would be $2.50 per bottle.
Â
If you love to wear eye makeup, this primer is a must. This item truly deserves a position on the top ten list.

Hint of Mint, Black Cherry? Sounds like Ben and Jerry’s Holiday Ice Cream collection.
Actually… “Hint of Mint“ is an ultra sheer and shiny lip gloss with the delicate taste of mint from LooseLipsNY. I have been wearing and loving this gloss in “mint glamour girl,” with a lot of gold sparkle and shine. “Hint of Mint” gloss is smooth, not gritty, moisturizing, but not sticky. You can use “Hint of Mint” alone or layer with your favorite lip color!
After putting this on, my husband noticed! He also liked the minty kiss he received after giving me the compliment. Another favorite find at LooseLips NY is their Indelible Gel Eyeliner in Black Cherry.
Here is Mo Mommy’s glowing review of this fantastic eyeliner:
“Now here comes gel. With a really good brush (see my post) it is so easy to get a precise line, or to smudge, and it gets all the way into my lash line with no clumping, leading to a very smooth look. It stays for ages without moving or transferring.”
Sherry from LooseLipsNY asked me to call in this Friday for a 30 minute pod cast interview with her. We are going to talk about our favorite cosmetic and skincare products. You are all invited to listen and call in to the live recording. If you miss the live broadcast, you can listen to it later at the same web link below.

The Pumpkin Peel contains natural fruity acids that gently slough off dead layers of skin. Pumpkin is also very rich in antioxidants that nourish your skin. After one of these peels, my skin looked radiant and felt smooth and wonderful, although the price tag for her services were a bit steep.
A few months ago Sherry at LooseLipsNY, very kindly sent me free samples of all 3 of their signature skin products: (1) The Natural Pumpkin and Multi Fruit Complex Peel, (2) the Honey and Almond Scrub, and (3) the Soothing Chamomile Mask. I loved these three gems so much, I bought all three full size products and use this 3 step regimen once a week, and my skin has never looked better.
Sherry at LooseLipsNY just informed me that their Pumpkin Peel has been reformulated and works even better! After trying a sample, I noticed that it seems richer in its consistency and darker in color. Just don’t eat it!
The Pumpkin Peel smells just like Pumpkin Pie and works together with the Scrub. After using both, the Chamomile mask cools and soothes your skin. The LooseLipsNY system leaves your skin feeling like you just spent big bucks on a facial.
What’s better than listening in on a fun conversation between women who know and are completely obsessed with beauty products?
Being asked to participate with them!

Although I am quite excited to talk to Sherry, speaking on a pod cast really frightens me. It is so much easier to think clearly and create from behind a computer keyboard! Your support would really be appreciated.

Happy New Year to all of you!
Last night, we hung out at the house with the kids and some of their friends. We ordered Cafe Rio, 6 Little Caesar’s Pizzas, and lots of soda and chips for everyone. Amanda busted her butt cleaning up the basement and creating the perfect mix of music on a CD for the party.
The weather in Utah last night was COLD (5 degrees) and CLEAR. We had a fabulous sunset and the mountains looked spectacular. At 8pm, several of the kids arrived. They were excited and happy to hang out together.
Evan recently discovered a channel on our television that was showing classic movies. He had never seen the movie “Planet of the Apes” from start to finish, so after the Insight Bowl, Evan and some of the kids watched it. Planet of the Apes was my brother and my all time favorite movie, tied with the original black and white King Kong. We even had the action figures. To bring in the new year, all of the awake kids and I ran outside to scream Happy New Year to the neighborhood. We celebrated the arrival of 2008 with party poppers, cheers and screams, plus a few sparklers left over from July 4th. Our neighbor Rita blew her French Horn! Several other neighbors launched their illegal fireworks, which seem much safer with 8 inches of snow on the ground.
How wonderful is the ritual of starting a new year! A fresh, clean start on life!
