First Bloom of Summer

The roses in my front yard bloomed for the first time this season. This rose is the “Love and Peace” variety, and smells as wonderful as it is beautiful.
Tashagogo was singing the praises of her favorite Fresh fragrance, “Cannabis Rose” the other day on Megsmakeup.com. Are any of you fans of the Fresh line?

Happy Birthday Dad! Wish we could all join you in Indiana for some grilled steaks, sliced watermelon, fishing in the pond, and hugs. Â Love you lots!!!

That is a beautiful rose! I’m jealous!
That’s his pond? Wait a minute, THAT’S his backyard?! Um, for real, jealous much? Happy birthday Jen’s dad!! We all wish we could join you for grilled steaks too!
Yup, that is his back yard. There are two ponds and one he owns, it is gorgeous. When we fish we usually catch Bluegill, although there are some BIG catfish deep in there.
He would be glad to have you visit and have a BBQ. I am not kidding, he throws a great party.
