That’s right, it’s Sephora’s birthday. Happily enough, my birthday is this month too. But, while Sephora is only turning 10, I’m turning the big 3-0. In celebration of both fabulous events, I’m highlighting a few limited edition offerings that would be great for you or someone you adore.

Philosophy- Classic Cookbook ($40)

10 2 ounce bottles of Philosophy’s famous shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath. Includes my favorites, Pumpkin Pie and Cinnamon Buns. I have loved these for years and recommend giving them a try. A fantastic and delicious way to start your day.

Stila- Stila Loves Sephora 10th Anniversary Can ($40)

A collectable paint can filled with 5 fantastic Stila products. Even though the mascara and illuminating moisturizer are smaller than full size (think deluxe sample) it’s still an exceptional value.

Too Faced-The Quickie Chronicles Mini Collection ($59.10)

Eight, yes EIGHT, pocket sized palettes for eyes, lips and cheeks. With just these palettes you could be set for any mood or look that strikes your fancy. I’m going to rate this as irresistible!

Urban Decay- Urban Essentials Sephora 10 Year Anniversary Edition ($39)

A faux-snakeskin box packed with an exclusive oversized bottle of Eyeshadow Primer Potion and two full-sized eyeshadows. The shadows are Midnight Cowboy (their bestseller) and Asphyxia (one of my long time favorites). UD’s Primer Potion is a hugely popular product with tons of die-hard fans, and if you’ve been wanting to try it then now would be the time.

I remember my very first visit to a Sephora store. Small town Alaska girl (so I exaggerate a touch, it’s called artistic license) has her eyes opened to the wonder of all that makeup in one place. It was so drastically different from the limited department store options I’d experienced up to that point. Many wonderful lines have become national favorites by earning a space on their shelves, and it’s been awesome to see some of our favorites like tarte and the Balm ushered into the spotlight by the folks at Sephora. Happy Birthday Sephora, here’s to many more yet to come! (Now how much more sucking up do I have to do to get a job as buyer for you folks?)
