Sephora Beauty Innovations: What’s next?

Guess what showed up in my mailbox this afternoon? The newest Sephora Holiday Catalog, “tis the season to GIFT PRETTY!” And how fitting given that their Friends and Family 20% discount starts today (FF2008 at checkout). I am a bit ticked that that dang-blasted LASH STASH is out-of-stock though!!!

This year Sephora is celebrating their 10th year, and to have some fun let’s speculate about what beauty products might be in the Sephora catalogs in 2018. Here are my predictions for Sephora’s beauty products of the FUTURE:

DIY non-toxic injectible Botox kits - let’s hope this one enters the market soon!
BE’s Moon Mineral Makeup line (made from actual Moon Dust Minerals)
In response for the need for more eco savvy beauty containers, Sephora will create re-usable containers that can be cleaned and recycled, AND you can refill your cosmetics and skincare items from bulk dispensers!

I better hire my patent attorney (Laurel are you there?) and get these ideas protected ASAP. I really like that last one!

Jen, you’re so cute! I read through your proposed ideas and thought, “yeah, they really should do that.” Maybe the moon dust mineral makeup needs a little research, but the other two are seriously great!

I just purchased some of my favorite skincare items at Sephora, MakeUpForever’s HD powder (thanks a LOT Mo!) and some Philosophy. Their Cookbook was out-of-stock too, bummer.

I spent a lot but saved enough from the discount code to pay for one of these items. Can’t wait to tell you about them!

I love number 3!!!
I already keep all my small sample containers and old mineral makeup containers. The mineral makeup containers are great for carrying around lip balm (the small ones) and hand lotion (larger ones) in your purse.

The small shampoo type bottles can be rinsed and reused for travel size containers or just to keep things smaller on your countertop. I use mine to mix up my secret eye makeup removal potion and my home-grown toner. Woo!
