When I think of Meg Ryan, I remember “When Harry Met Sally” more than any other of her movies, and her hairstyles evolved quite a bit in this one movie alone! What movies of Meg’s are your faves?

You’ve Got Mail. That pixie cut was so cute- but maybe it’s just because I want to be Kathleen Kelley.
I could completely see you owning a children’s bookstore in NYC.
She looks so cute
The bookstore I can see on Tracy. The hair? Not so much…
Yeah, the hair would be a freakin’ disaster of biblical proportions. But ohhhh, the bookstore. I always wanted a little bookstore, with a cafe that sold only what I felt like making that day. I couldn’t do an official menu, but I could just feel like making something, and that’s what you got that day. Sigh… I love books. Especially the smell…. mmmmmm.
What would be on the menu for today? I’m really jonesing for some delectable almond-cherry scones, or perhaps a slice of something lemony!
My favorite Christmas gifts for my kids and family are new books, this year I purchased some really wonderful ones too, but my favorite is “Christmas Cookies : Bite-Size Holiday Lessons” illustrated by the enormously talented Jane Dyer.
What are your recommendations Miss Kathleen?
Oh, man, I’m a huge Jane Dyer fan. As far as Christams books, you might look into this one:

Call me silly, but I cry every time I read it…
I completely sob while reading, “I love you like Crazycakes,” and “Love You Forever,” so I went ahead and ordered, “Ranger Came Calling Berkeley Breathed.”
Here’s to sentimental gals like us!
I am so with you on the Harry Met Sally haircut. That is still my favorite Meg look, lo these many decades later!
