DecoDiva created a stunning Green and Silver Eye that you could create this New Years Eve, or any evening where to really want to “knock their socks off!” This is her step-by-step tutorial to walk you through this look. And if you are on a budget – no worries, Aromaleigh and Meow Cosmetics offer generous sample baggies of many of their products for just $1. Now we can all afford to get a wonderful selection of cosmetics and get a chance to try this look  for ourselves!
Start with a clean, moisturized face.
1. Put on Eye Shadow Primer. (Eyeshadow Primer and Base from Aromaleigh in Light)

2. Put some black shadow on the outer vee area and a little in the crease. I used MAC Paint Pot in Blackground.

3. Apply some silver eye shadow all over the eye area, from lash line to eyebrows. I used Aromaleigh Fume (25% off, now $6).
4. Apply a green eye shadow to the outer vee and crease, and blend inward. I used Aromaleigh Wintergreen.
5. I need to darken my green. You can do this with black or another green. I chose to use Aromaleigh’s Drama Queen Green.

6. Blend inward until the color looks smoky the way you want it.
7. Apply the silver along your lower lash line. Apply the green along your lower lash line.

8. Apply black eyeliner along your lower water line. You will smudge this into the silver and green. I used Urban Decay’s 24/7 Eye Pencil in Zero.
9. Smudge the eyeliner with the eye shadow.
10. What the lower lash line and water line should look like.

11. Line your upper lash line. I’m using Aromaleigh’s Indelible Gel Eyelinerin Black Out, along with a Sonia Kashuk bent eyeliner brush.
12. Start about the middle of your upper lash line and line towards the outer edge of your eye.
13. You can see my outer line here.

14. Starting back from the middle, draw inward. I keep my eyes open as I’m doing this. Thicken the outer part of the line if you want a more dramatic eye.
15. Apply mascara. I’m using Bare Escentuals Magic Wand Brushless Mascara in Black.
16. Seperate your lashes. I use a brush like this to do that.

17. Clean up any eye shadow spills under your eyes that are on your cheeks.
18. Apply your foundation. I used Meow’s Pampered Puss foundation in Inquisitive Sphynx.
19. Apply a subtle blush. I used Meow’s Firefly Blush in Illuminate. Since I want a subtle glow, I’m using a fiber optic blush brush.

20. Use some highlighting powder. I used Meow’s Crystalline Cat Glow Powder in Quartz.
21. Use some finishing powder. I used Aromaleigh’s Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder in Clear.
22. Line your lips. I used MAC Pencil in Cherry.

23. Fill in your lips with your liner. I use my finger to even it out.
24. Put on your lipstick/lipgloss. I used MAC Lipglass in Cult of Cherry.
25. Your makeup is ready!

I’ve been trying to get the Make Up For Ever cream shadow in silver for ages and it’s always out of stock. Looks like I should just get Fume and call it good. It matches my new nail polish perfectly too, and I’m all about accessorizing!
Um, er, Mo? Don’t order anything- I got you, um, a little present when we get home… K? Just sayin’…
YEAH! I got a whole bunch of silver and gold and pink glitter colors from Shiny Mama and this tutorial gave me some great ideas. Can’t wait to go play now!
