Comments on: Purely Cosmetics Mineral Makeup

I am 14 years old and just started looking at like the mineral route for makeup, this and bare minerals is the only ones I’ve found so far. Would you reccomend this brand for a teenager (I get oily during the day and I don’t want it to look like it with makeup)?

Phyrra – what color foundation do you need? Shoot me an email with your mailing addy, and I’ll send you a lighter shade, along with Soft Moon. You guys also have to try Sapphire Night – it’s my personal fav, especially as a liner, as well as Black Chamelon.

Yeah for Soft Moon! This is one of the best eye shadow colors EVER.

Like Jen, I’m really loving the Silk & Pearl Primer too. It’s great for touchups (picking up oil during a warmer day), priming for a “longer wear” day, or as a treatment at night time.

My Purely Cosmetics foundation color is California Blonde. I’m pretty light skinned with a slight pinky hue, almost translucent in places.

I am one of those people that bismuth reacts to. It stings the heck out of me! Almost like fire ants on my face. Plus all those parabens always made me breakout.

I love the Purely Cosmetics blush in “Hint of Pink” and have also become very fond of her Silk & Pearl Powder Primer!!! Neutral Light (light) foundation works great with my cool/pink skintone.

Soft Moon sounds so lovely!

The blush I tried from Purely cosmetics was really nice! I didn’t try the foundation because I knew it would be too dark. I’ve gotta get a sample of that Soft Moon to check out. I’m actually trying to find more greys, and anything with a turquoise reflect is a winner in my book.

Thanks for the great review Did I send the Skin Smoothing formula as well? That one has a bit lighter coverage than the traditional formula.
