Typically when you think of Made from Earth you think of organic and healthy hair products – but I tried the Tea + Protein Shampoo because even though I have a lot of hair, it is fine and I heard it aids in the strength and vitality of the hair follicles. I have to say that I have loved this product! I even got my mom using it, and my best friend.

I have tried other products of this line as well, and have similarly enjoyed the results!

Never thought of using a satin pillow, cool! I think it’s definitely worth giving it a try. Although I still believe that crucial is the hair care products you use. For curly hair
especially, try Batia&Aleeza – my sister brought it from the States and I’m pretty amazed how it works. It’s made by two sisters, hairdressers – both with curly hair btw. I used to put the shea butter but it was annoying and I don’t like the smell to be honest.

You are absolutely right with your advice. My best friend watches Regis and Kelly and she told me that Kelly Ripa had switched to a satin pillowcase, Kelly loved them and she said to go and purchase a satin pillowcase, and my girl friend did.

My girlfriend is sooo happy about how her hair and face feels. She had a problem with frizzies and breakage. The satin doesn’t take out the moisture and oils that your hair and skin really need to remain healthy, soft and shiny.

I went and bought a king size set from A Touch of Satin because that’s where my friend went. They are amazingly smooth and I’m not getting split-ends like I had been. The pillowcases wash beautifully and I can just take them right out of the dryer and put them on my pillows and they look awesome!

i use herbal essence to keep my frizzy curly hair down. once u get out of the shower just put in a little leave in conditioner and let it air dry. then put in a frizz protecter spray (also herbal essence) give it a try….it works for me everyday

I have curly hair too and my hair looks like a ball of frizz in the mornings. LOL! I guess I will have to try and see if a satin pillow case works for me as well.

Jen and Roxanne,

I can tell you that I won a satin pillowcase, and it makes such a difference! My curls are not flattened and frizzy in the morning. I could almost get away with just putting some pomade in or a spray in conditioner.
I would highly recommend trying this out!

I need to try those Curl Cloths or cyclic towels….
